We focus on the holistic development of each child, following a evidenced-based education found in modern Kindergartens in Germany or Scandinavia.
Through participation, exploration and co-construction children develop independence, empathy, and respect, as well as higher cognitive skills, such as creativity, critical thinking and executive function.
By being allowed to follow their own interests, children develop both a passion for learning and a growth mindset. The curriculum is designed around the goal of encouraging individual young minds to reach full their potential in a local and global world.
Our immersive bilingual learning program is based on the principle of ‘One Teacher, One Language’. This ensures the highest quality instruction in Thai and English and give the child the image of two equal educators.
- Children learn to speak two languages simultaneously
- Children learn to value two cultures (Thai & Western) equally
- Children build a strong foundation for all future language learning
- Children learn to switch fast between one to the other language. This increased a child’s cognitive flexibility and builts Execute Function.
We are a team of educators, parents, nerds and foodies who believe that the approach to education in Thailand needs to be expanded – especially for children whose parents want a meaningful education that is based on our knowledge of learning and development in the 21st century.
In June 2017 we decided to start our work to bring a new Thai/English approach to Thailand, an education that is based on the principles of the original German Kindergarten (literally Garden for Children) and puts the child’s interest at the core of its pedagogy.
